Drawing influence from a broad spectrum, Paulie Cerra's songs weave tales of real life stories of love, heartache, pain, joy and optimism. Whether the Ray Charles influenced “Weak In The Knees”, the Sam Cooke-ish gospel-blues of “Nice To Be Home Again”, the rocking Joe Cocker tinged lead off “A Much Better Place” the soulful, finely crafted “My Angel’s Smile” or house rocking good time sounds of “On My Way Home” and “Down The Road”, there is something new and exciting around each corner for the listener.

Having spent years on the road touring the world over and recording with many of the top blues and R&B acts including Stevie Wonder, Kirk Franklin, Lucky Peterson, Luther Allison, Little Milton, Bobby Bland, Billy Preston and Jimmy Johnson to name but a few, has laid the foundation for this versatile and dynamic performer.

Paulie Cerra's varied influences from the fabric, that is the heritage of life in America, creep into the sound of his music with a positive take on emotions that go from love to heartbreak and friendship to loneliness.
